Create stunning cat eye heart nails with an easy and fun trick! Using Gaoy Red Cat Eye Gel Nail Polish, a nail magnet tool, and a DIY heart-shaped paper clip magnet, you’ll achieve perfect heart designs that sparkle with the cat eye effect. Here's how to do it:
Materials You’ll Need:
Gaoy Red Cat Eye Gel Nail Polish (Buy it here)
Nail Magnet Tool (Buy it here)
A paper clip (bent into a heart shape)
Tape or glue (to stick the paper clip to the magnet)
Base coat and top coat
UV/LED nail lamp
Nail prep tools (file, buffer, cuticle pusher)
Step 1: Nail Prep
Clean, file, and shape your nails to your desired style.
Push back your cuticles and gently buff your nails to smooth the surface.
Wipe your nails with alcohol to remove oils or residue.
Step 2: Prepare Your Heart Magnet
Take a paper clip and bend it into a heart shape. You can use small pliers for precision.
Attach the heart-shaped paper clip to your nail magnet tool using tape or a dab of glue.
Step 3: Base Coat
Apply a thin layer of base coat to protect your natural nails.
Cure under a UV/LED lamp for 30-60 seconds.
Step 4: Apply the Cat Eye Gel
Apply a thin layer of Gaoy Red Cat Eye Gel Nail Polish to your nails but don’t cure yet.
Hold the magnet (with the attached heart-shaped paper clip) over your nail, about 2-3 mm above the surface. The magnetic particles in the polish will shift into the heart shape!
Once you’re happy with the design, cure under a UV/LED lamp for 60 seconds.
Step 5: Enhance the Design
Add a second thin layer of the cat eye gel polish for extra depth and color.
Use the magnet with the heart shape again before curing to refine the design.
Cure under the UV/LED lamp for another 60 seconds.
Step 6: Finish with a Top Coat
Apply a glossy or matte top coat to seal your design and add shine.
Cure for 60 seconds, then wipe off any sticky residue with alcohol.
Pro Tips:
Test the heart-shaped magnet setup on a practice nail before starting on your own nails.
Adjust the magnet’s angle to create different lighting effects on the heart design.
Pair this design with sparkly accessories for a complete look!
With this simple paper clip hack, you’ll achieve beautiful, professional-looking cat eye heart nails. Let your creativity shine, and show off your dreamy designs! 💅✨
